A WiFi router on a desk in a home

Home internet in Kenya is sold by speed, and the cheapest package is rarely the wrong one for a small household or the right one for a large one. These are our home packages as published on 6 October 2026, and a plain guide to choosing between them.

Four home packages, from 5 Mbps at KES 1,500 a month to 30 Mbps at KES 4,000, each with a WiFi router and installation support. How to pick the right one for your house.

Our home WiFi packages and prices

  • Starter, 5 Mbps: KES 1,500 a month, for browsing, social media and standard streaming in a small household
  • Family, 10 Mbps: KES 2,000 a month, for several devices, HD streaming and video calls at the same time
  • Power, 15 Mbps: KES 3,500 a month, for a full household streaming, gaming and studying together, with priority fault response
  • Ultra, 30 Mbps: KES 4,000 a month, for large homes with many devices and heavy simultaneous use, with priority fault response

Every package includes a WiFi router, installation support and our customer support line, which stays open around the clock for existing clients. The packages are priced by speed.

How to choose a speed

Count what runs at the same time in the evening, not what the house owns. A rough guide:

  • One or two people browsing and on social media: 5 Mbps is enough
  • A family streaming in HD on one or two screens while others are on video calls: 10 Mbps
  • Children studying online, someone gaming and a television streaming at once: 15 Mbps
  • Many people, several 4K or HD streams, security cameras and smart devices: 30 Mbps

If you work from home, look at upload as well as download. Video calls and sending large files depend on the upload side, which is the number most packages in Kenya do not advertise; our article on upload speed explains why it matters.

Is the WiFi slow, or the internet?

A large share of "slow internet" complaints are a router in the wrong place: behind a television, in a cabinet, or at one end of a house with thick walls. Before paying for a faster package, check the speed next to the router. If it is fine there and poor in the bedrooms, the fix is coverage, not speed.

Where the packages are available

Nairobi and Mombasa are our established fibre footprint, and our coverage pages list the estates and roads by county. Elsewhere, and in any estate you do not see listed, a site survey establishes what can be delivered before you commit to anything. A place missing from the list is not a "no"; it is a survey.

Business internet

Shops, offices and companies need different terms: dedicated bandwidth, a business support line and in some cases a guaranteed service level. Business packages are priced on request, because they depend on the site and the bandwidth, and the quotation is itemised.

How to get connected

Check your area on the coverage pages or ask Leo, our assistant, then book the site survey. You can also build a quotation on this site, choosing the package and any extra equipment, and send it to us with its own number.
