Cookie policy
What cookies this site sets, why, and how to control them.
Last updated 5 October 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember information between pages and between visits. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used to understand how visitors use the site so it can be improved.
Cookies this site sets
Strictly necessary cookies, set regardless of your consent choice because the site cannot work safely without them: __Host-csrftoken, a random security token set when you send a form, ask Leo or log in, which proves a request came from this site and not from another one (cross-site request forgery protection); __Host-sessionid, set only when you log in to the administration panel, which keeps you signed in and cannot be read by any script on the page; and wf_console_theme, which remembers the light or dark setting of the administration panel. All of them are sent only over HTTPS, only to this site, and never to other websites.
Analytics cookies (with consent only): if you accept cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga, _ga_*, and _gid. These record an anonymous identifier for your browser, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them. No personally identifiable information is included. The data is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Consent record: we store your cookie choice (accepted or declined) in your browser local storage under the key cookie-consent. This is not a cookie and is not sent to any server; it is read only by this site to avoid showing the consent banner on every page.
Third-party cookies
Google Analytics is the only third-party service that sets cookies on this site, and only when you have given consent. We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party cookie service.
If you use the Calendly booking widget on the contact page, Calendly may set its own cookies. Those are governed by Calendly's own privacy and cookie policy.
Your choices
When you first visit the site, a banner gives you the choice to accept or decline analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can change it at any time by clearing your browser cookies and local storage for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies that have already been set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the administration panel from working, but will not affect the public site.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long cookies last
The administration session ends when you log out, after 8 hours without activity, or 24 hours after you signed in, whichever comes first. The security token lasts up to one year and holds no information about you. The panel theme setting lasts one year.
Google Analytics cookies last up to two years from the date they are set or refreshed. You can delete them at any time through your browser settings.
