What this is

Perimeter protection that acts as a strong first line of defense against intrusion. Our electric fence systems are installed to Kenyan safety standards, with clear signage and controlled voltage output, and can be paired with alarm monitoring for immediate alerts if the fence is tampered with.

An electric fence works as a deterrent and an early warning, not a barrier on its own: the wires carry a controlled pulse strong enough to discourage someone from climbing over, and cutting or shorting a wire can be wired to trigger an alert rather than pass unnoticed. The energizer, the unit that generates the pulse, is sized to the length of fence it drives and fitted with a battery backup so the fence still works through a power cut.

Compliance matters here in a way it does not for most of what we install. Kenyan regulation sets limits on voltage and requires warning signage at regular intervals along the run, and we install to those limits as standard, not as an upsell.

What is included

  • New electric fence installation for homes, offices and industrial sites
  • Repair and maintenance of existing electric fences
  • Fence energizers with battery backup for power outages
  • Remote monitoring and tamper alerts
  • Compliant installation practices for residential and commercial properties

How it works

From first call to handover

  1. Site survey to measure the perimeter and identify mounting points

  2. Energizer sizing to the fence length and the level of deterrent you need

  3. Installation with compliant signage and controlled voltage output

  4. Tamper alert testing before handover

  5. Ongoing servicing and repair for existing fences from any installer

Pricing

How this is billed

Priced per metre of perimeter once the survey confirms the fence length, the number of corners and gates, and whether monitoring is added. Existing fences from another installer are quoted for repair the same way, after an inspection.

After installation

Support and servicing

The energizer and wiring are covered by warranty on the equipment we supply. Battery backups need periodic replacement as any battery does, and we flag that at handover rather than let it fail silently. Call the support line if the fence trips, stops holding voltage, or the tamper alert misfires.

Questions

What people ask before booking

Is an electric fence safe around children and pets?
Installed to the standard we work to, the pulse is a short, controlled shock meant to deter, not injure, and is the same technology used on farm and residential perimeters across the country. Signage is required and fitted as standard so anyone approaching the fence is warned before contact.
What happens to the fence during a power cut?
The energizer runs on battery backup, so a short outage does not take the fence down. For longer outages the battery is sized at installation to a runtime we agree with you based on how long outages tend to run in your area.
Can you repair a fence someone else installed?
Yes. We inspect it the same way we would a fence we are quoting from scratch, confirm whether it meets the compliant voltage and signage standard, and quote the repair or the parts of it that need bringing up to standard.
