What this is

Business internet built for uptime. Whether you run a retail shop, a salon, a restaurant, or a small office, a dropped connection means lost sales and frustrated customers. Our business packages are designed around dependable speeds during working hours, with dedicated support lines for faster resolution when something goes wrong.

The difference between a home and a business package is not just the speed, it is what the connection is asked to carry. A card machine and a cloud based point of sale need a connection that does not drop mid transaction; a small office running video calls needs upload speed as much as download, which residential packages are rarely sized for. Business packages are built around those demands rather than general browsing.

A static IP is worth having if you run a service that needs to be reachable at a fixed address, such as remote access into an office server or a security system you view from outside the building; most retail and hospitality businesses never need one, which is why it is offered on request rather than bundled by default.

What is included

  • Dedicated and shared bandwidth options
  • Static IP addresses available on request
  • Priority support response for business clients

Pricing

How this is billed

Monthly, per the business tiers on the packages page. Static IP and backup connectivity are quoted on request.

After installation

Support and servicing

Business clients get priority response on the support line, ahead of the standard residential queue, since a dropped connection during trading hours costs you money in a way it does not cost a household. Call for a connection issue, and for anything affecting a card machine or point of sale, say so when you call.

Questions

What people ask before booking

What is the difference between dedicated and shared bandwidth?
Shared bandwidth is split across other customers on the same line during busy periods, which is fine for most retail and office use and costs less. Dedicated bandwidth is yours alone at all times, which matters if your business genuinely cannot tolerate slowdown during peak hours.
Can installation happen outside trading hours?
We plan installation around your business, and for a shop or restaurant that means working before opening or after close where the survey shows that is possible, rather than disrupting a trading day.
What counts as a backup connectivity option?
A secondary connection, often a different technology such as a mobile data backup, that takes over automatically if the primary line fails, so a business that genuinely cannot afford downtime is not left offline waiting for a fault to be fixed.
